Spring
Maple Syrup
This is the time of year when the sap in the maple trees begins to flow. "Sugaring" has been done in New England since its discovery by Native Americans. We are open on the first three weekends in March for sugaring demonstrations from noon until 5 pm. We show visitors how the sap comes out of the trees, how it is taken to the storage tank, and then how it is boiled down in the evaporator. Pure maple syrup and maple sugar is available for sale. We also offer school programs on the weekdays.
Products:
- Maple syrup: Grades A, B, & C. In 1/2 gallon, quart, pint, 1/2 pint, and 1/2 pint glass leaf-shaped jar.
- Maple sugar candy: maple men and woman, maple leaves, and other assorted candies. Many are packaged for gift-giving, and we sometimes package them with Easter in mind. If you'd like to order a quantity for gifts or favors, please contact us well in advance of the event. Candy doesn't hold up well in warm weather so expect to find it in all but the summer season.
- Eggs (depending on the intentions of our hens)

Winter
Christmas Trees
In the weeks after Thanksgiving, we offer our own organic Christmas trees from one of the groves. Cut your own or ask us to cut one for you. Our trees have a natural look because we do not shape them as much as a store-bought tree, which means you have more places to hang ornaments. Sizes range from apartment- to mansion-sized trees. Our garlic, maple syrup and maple sugar candy (all nice for gift-giving) are also available.
